In an attempt to remove myself from the incessant bloggers of day to day minutia, I instead choose to blog
about my relocation (and the relocation of my Web Design Business) to Beautiful Barnegat, New Jersey in lovely
Ocean county.
This wont be an every-day blog, but i will be sure to post what I find to be good, bad, pretty or ugly in the
moving of a business from Staten Island, NY to the edge of no-mans land. Move-in date: 5/30/08.

These are based upon my own findings, research and experiences.
Contractors
I'm going to start here because, like most people who move, we have the need to spend great deals of money to make
a house a home. So...
- Electrician - On-Site Electrical Contractors
Just phenomenal work. Great communication and follow up, everything perfectly to code and just really good people
to work with. The owner, Steve, is an absolute pleasure and truly one of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with. They can handle just about anything and I appreciate the fact that
his pricing was more than fair even after finding some unexpected problems while working on my pool electric setup. Highly recommended.
His office is in Forked River, NJ and the number is 609-693-6766. Ask for Steve.
- Pools - Integrity Pools in Lanoka Harbor, NJ
A rare find is this business that truly lives up to its name in terms of service. You will get direct, to-the-point
honesty here with regard to the possibilities and prices. Not the cheapest pool business I found, but by far not the most
expensive, but out of all the ones I've visited, this was the business to go with. Personable, small-business air,
but with a vast amount of options and possibilities. They can arrange for the installation of an above-ground pool
(like myself), or the VERY supervised installation of an in ground pool (my neighbor). Again, great people to work
with and you won't believe how many awards they've won.

- Fencing - Eagle Fence in Waretown, NJ
Far be it from me to bad-mouth a business, but these guys left me high and dry. Three no-shows, one no call,
no show. Thoroughly unreliable. I even called the better business bureau on them, and that's rare for me. My
advice? Stay away. Mind you, this is the Eagle Fence in WARETOWN, NJ. They are not affiliated with any other
"Eagle Fence" business to my knowledge.
To date (5/27/08) I am looking for a good, moderately priced fencing business. I have interviewed many, but
most seem REALLY expensive. I'll post when I find a good one.
- Pool Installation - Master Pool in Barnegat, NJ
Quiet, direct, to-the-point, is how I would describe Chris at Mater Pool Installation. Short, sweet and to the point is how he works and he gets the job done. He came highly recommended to me from the good people at Integrity Pools, so I knew there would be little problem there. A fine job of clearing the land and building the pool.
